"This hotel is a tremendous value for the money"
Since I travel and stay in nice hotels approximately 45 weeks each year, I don't get overly excited when staying in hotels while on vacation. However, the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel & Suites was the exception! My husband and I were only going to be in San Antonio for one evening, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money for a hotel since we would be arriving late. To be honest, I was not expecting much for the price we paid, but I was SO pleasantly surprised! The pictures on the website truly depict this hotel - the room was spacious, well-appointed, and clean. The pool area was absolutely beautiful. This hotel is a tremendous value for the money -- especially considering its location. We will definitely stay here again! ~Debbie. Stephenville, TX

My fiancée and I recently stayed at your hotel on November 18 - 22. I wanted to let you know what a great time we had. I have stayed at many hotels, and have taken many cruises around the world, and not even on our first class cruises, paying thousands of dollars, did we ever get the courtesy, service, promptness and helpfulness we got during our stay at your hotel. Your wonderful staff; Yuli, Ricardo, and the other staff at the front desk as well as your painters and maid service were extremely helpful. The second we got in the door, Yuli greeted us with a friendly smile, cookies and water; which we could not believe, because no one at the first class hotels did any of that for us (cookies!). We got to the room and in five minutes the front desk called us to check if we needed anything. We went downstairs later asking for directions to a good restaurant and other local highlights, and they drew us maps. They must have drawn us eight maps. Anything they didn't immediately know the location of they asked around to the painters and other people. We took a few tours and everything was prompt and exact. On Friday we had a late night and we found a pizza place still open. I called the front desk and asked if there was a microwave available in the hotel we could use. They immediately went above and beyond our request. She said "We will put a microwave in your room in the next fifteen minutes." I felt like I was in a dream! By the time we got home, it was nicely arranged and ready for our pizza in the room. Staff like that you will not find anywhere. You need to appreciate them and hopefully give them a raise. I am an owner of my own business as well. I only wish I had staff like that. I would also like to include how clean the hotel was outside and in. My fiancée and I were so impressed with the hotel, the people, and the city itself, we are considering moving to San Antonio.
